Safety and Security

The safety and security of students in Asheboro City Schools is of prime importance.  School staff has worked with county and state emergency response teams to develop a crisis plan for every school.  Regular practices of crisis responses are a part of the school activities.

Visitors to school campuses are expected to check in at the school office and obtain a badge to wear during their visit.  Visitors sign out and return the badges upon departure.  Except for main entrance doors, outside doors are kept locked at all elementary and middle schools.

School resource officers at the middle and high schools help to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere.
